Flying Lion Studios was formed in 1994 as a subsidiary of Epsen Hillmer Graphics Co. EHG is an international label and packaging provider that has been in business since 1908. The impetus to create Flying Lion Studios came from a demand of our clients. Our compelling creative work and cost effective production services allowed us to respond to our customer¹s requests to help with additional packaging and brand promotion projects. Flying Lion Studios separated from EHG in the spring of 2000 to form an independent company.

Flying Lion Studios distinguished itself by providing tight, eye-catching graphics and economical production techniques. Early implementation of digital technology for our art and photography workflows derived from our commitment to systematic process improvement techniques.

Flying Lion Studios competitive advantage was key to providing design and brand development services for many Fortune 500 companies including: Alberto Culver, American Stores, Apple & Eve, Clorox, ConAgra Inc., Campbell Soup, Iams, Nestle/Carnation, Kiwi Brands, Langers, Clement Pappas, Gerber, Dannon, Walmart, Quaker Oats, KalKan, Del Monte, Coke Foods, Mattel, St. Ives, et al... We have also provided packaging to over 40 private label supermarket chains.

Our primary charter is to provide creative and production services for Advertising Agencies and Corporate Marketing Departments. Our services are most frequently contracted on a outsource basis that often requires confidentiality to protect our direct clients. This limits a good deal of the material available for display in this site.

Our criterion in evaluating a potential client is to analyze compatible business philosophies and level of commitment to true partnership in the process. Our proposals are based upon the value in new business we can bring to an operation or reduced costs in the promotional process. We rarely take on more than one or two new direct accounts per year and we never take on small projects or speculative ventures. We greatly value our customers and the long-term relationships we have developed.
